This is an urgent appeal for your help. As you may know the Kahramanmaras earthquake has devastated the region of Turkey/Syria. The confirmed death toll reached more than 30,000. To put things into context, this surpasses the total from Japan’s Fukushima disaster in 2011 which killed more than 18,400 people and yet the death toll tragically continues to rise.
We (a group of volunteers from the North West and London) are asking for your help. We are collecting money and hand delivering aid to the locals and relief teams near to the epicentre of the disaster.
We will be flying out on the 28th of February, landing into Gaziantep,Turkey. From here, we will be supporting the teams on the ground and helping them in their efforts to reach the most effected parts. Thousands of people have still not been found and entire communities wiped out. This is where your donations are most needed.
There are many young children who have lost their parents and during these harsh winter months are without adequate food, shelter and clothing to survive the aftermath of this catastrophic disaster. Every donation counts and even the smallest amount will make a huge difference so please give as much as you can.
If you are unable to support financially then please at least spare a few seconds to share this appeal with your trusted contacts as every donation will go a long way.

The London team will be sponsored by a local charity ’Serving Humanity Foundation’.
