Morocco earthquake: Number of deaths expected to rise after quake – as aftershocks reported

More than 800 people have died and hundreds more are injured after a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck in Morocco. The number of dead is expected to rise as rescuers dig through rubble and attempt to reach remote villages.

EMERGENCY APPEAL FOR TURKIYE (GAZIANTEP)

A series of devastating earthquakes have hit southern Turkey (now known as Türkiye) and north-west Syria killing over 24,000 people and injuring many more.

The first deadly earthquake struck while people were inside their homes, asleep in their beds, with no warning signs. Thousands of buildings, including hospitals and schools, have collapsed and infrastructure has been badly damaged. Local responders are desperately searching through the rubble for survivors.

People have been left without shelter in freezing winter conditions and desperately need blankets, emergency shelter, food and clean water.

Hundreds of innocent Palestinian’s, including women and children, are being killed every day and many more have been stripped of their homes, their belongings, and have lost members of their family and friends.
Hope for Mankind has taken the initiative to send out an emergency response team, regardless of the obvious risks, to help those in the heart of the destruction caused by the Israeli government.
We will help the Palestinians the best we can by giving them food, shelter, and blankets using your donations.
We are therefore relying on your donations to help those in need. We aim to give the Palestinians hope and show them that we are indeed with them and will do all we can to help whether, whether it is in prayer, by raising awareness, and by actively trying to provide them with physical support.
